As much as it pains us to say this, we really think the Packers have a realistic chance at running the table and going 16-0 this season. This could be construed as some sort of jinx. If it works that way, fine. But we are being serious about the undefeated season business.

Green Bay's schedule sets up incredibly well. The Packers have a bye this week. Their next nine games? Per RJ Bell at Pregame.com, the Packers are:

  • Favored by an average of 8.8 points in remaining 9 games.
Favored by over a field goal in every remaining game.
Toughest game: 3.5-point favorites at San Diego (11/6/11)

As you can see, that toughest game (in the eyes of Vegas) comes right out of the bye, meaning Green Bay has extra time to prepare and get healthy. Beyond that, road games against the Lions and Giants are potential stumbling blocks. And yes, any given Sunday, blah blah blah.

Based on probability, Vegas gives the Packers a 10 percent chance of winning every remaining game. Based on feel -- which yes, Brandon, is not worth much -- the likelihood seems greater to us. Your thoughts, please, in the comments.
