Awards: The former Wisconsin Badger won the 2002 Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year; was MVP of the 2003 All-Star Game after scoring four goals and getting an assist and a shootout goal; was named to the 2007 All-Star first team; and was named to four NHL All-Star Games (2003, 2007, 2008 and 2009). He has represented Canada at the past two Olympics, winning a gold medal in 2010.

Contract: Heatley has three years left on a six-year, $45 million deal. That's a $7.5 million cap hit with salaries the next three years of $8 million, $6 million and $5 million.
