Masking the real issue

Why did Disney really pull the plug on "The Lone Ranger"? Could it be .... werewolves? The projected budget of over $200 million was the official cause of the shutdown; that figure resulted from effects-heavy CGI content "due to being a kind of Indian-spirituality werewolf movie -- aka 'The Lone Ranger Meets the Wolfman,' " reports Hollywood-Elsewhere. Might the disappointing showing for the genre mashup "Cowboys & Aliens" have more influence on Disney's decision than money?

The final reel
