A HollywoodLife.com article has me wondering when Kris Humphries will take his inner Groomzilla to the game.

The NBA player and Twin Cities native is reportedly not even getting to pick all of his groomsmen, and his family is also not happy! The glimpse into his future that he's getting from preparations for his Aug. 20 wedding to Kim Kardashian should give him pause and chills. From what I've read, and now independently confirmed, the groom may be experiencing a light bulb moment that Minnesota Nice will not cut it in his new family.

A reliable source tells me that HollywoodLife, quoting an In Touch magazine source, was dead right about Humphries' family being VERY UNHAPPY with how they've been treated thus far. While William and Debra Humphries support their son, they think he's making a gigantic mistake by marrying Kardashian, mainly because of her baggage with name tags reading Kris Jenner and Khloe.

Ultimately the Humphrieses are good Minnesotans. If there's a ceremony, they will put on their game faces. But don't expect to see much of them in "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," scheduled to air over two nights on E! TV, cable home of Kardashian family reality shows.

Humphries should be worried about his new reality when he doesn't even get to select his groomsmen.

"What seems even stranger," wrote HollywoodLife in a piece you can read at www.startribune.com/a600, "is that Kris will mostly likely have to choose Rob Kardashian, Lamar Odom and Scott Disick as his groomsmen instead of his real friends because that's what fans of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' will want to see."

For the uninitiated, Rob is Kim's brother, who called her a "whore" this season. Lamar is an NBA player and husband of Khloe Kardashian. Scott is the boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian and father of their child.

My source does not believe Scott is in the wedding, while Anthony Polski, whose dad owns Market BBQ, and guys named Josh, Pete and Adam are reportedly among the groomsmen. Other close running buddies have been excluded to their utter shock and dismay.

Word is that many of Kris' decisions are not even his these days, as Kim runs his life with assists from her Mombo Kris. This is truly disconcerting since his parents' guidance has resulted in Humphries, an NBA journeyman, amassing an incredible fortune. Transitioning from a nurturing family to one where everybody's a commodity worth exploiting may be difficult for Humphries. Of course, Kris Jenner, who replaced William Humphries in the role of business manager, knows the sun will set soon enough on their fame, so she turns those quick deals.

Knowing the solid family reputation established by the Humphrieses of Hopkins -- both of whom have a bad habit of not returning my calls -- they are probably hoping these juicy rumors about NFLer Reggie Bush trying to get back into Kim's arms are true!

Don't be surprised if Humphries pulls a Jay Cutler. The Bears QB called off his engagement to reality star Kristin Cavallari days before the wedding. At this point, who could blame Humphries?

Fashion à la Tina O?Tina O, who did a few Smile Network fundraisers when she lived here, needs to come back and do another one.

So said Jodi Schoenauer, director of marketing for Parasole and a pal of the wannawearbytinao.com entrepreneur now living in Los Angeles. Tina, by all means, bring your "Real Housewives of New York" buddy Sonja Morgan, and maybe Jane Fonda (with whom Tina O turns up in a Web photo search).

"We could do a 'Real Housewives' fashion show, starring Tina O's clothing line," said Schoenauer. "We don't have anything here like her clothes. They are affordable and classic styles for people like me, who don't have that rock-hard 25-year-old body. They are very flattering."

With her sardonic wit, wacky voice and laugh, Tina O would naturally handled the runway announcer chores.

"OK, give me the dates," replied Tina O via text to Schoenauer.

There you have it, Kim Valentini: Another event idea for raising funds to transform the smiles of children.

Lynx deserve more airtime"I listen to 'CCO radio. Michele Tafoya always says 'Do good, Twins,' which is supposed to be 'Do well.' She has never said that for the Lynx. So I texted her and said, 'It would be a good idea to acknowledge the only winning team in the city.' I don't think she's done it yet," said Bonnie Clark, former Strib colleague "and season-ticket holder since there've been Lynx."

I sent an inquiry via Twitter to Tafoya, who replied: "Haven't heard from your friend Bonnie! Will try to remember!"

In other mischief, I slid a note under the door of Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve's favorite Strib columnist, Sid Hartman, asking: When are we going to a Lynx game?
