A man walked into a CVS store late Monday, asked for a $50 phone card, a pack of smokes and an Almond Joy, then handed the cashier a fake $1 million bill, Minneapolis police said.

The man left with his purchases and then biked east on S. 10th Street, the cashier reported. The theft at 949 Portland Av. S. took place at 10:40 p.m.

The suspect was described as a black man, about 20 years old, 5 foot 9 and 140 pounds, with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black jeans.
