Preview: The Wolves practiced in San Francisco on Monday and Tuesday after Sunday's 101-77 loss at Golden State and flew to Utah late Tuesday afternoon for Wednesday's night game. Starting point guard Luke Ridnour returned to Minnesota after Sunday's game to be with his wife and newborn daughters and is expected to return in time to play the Jazz ... The Wolves are 1-2 against Utah this season after last week's 122-101 victory at Target Center in which they let a 19-point lead slip to only two before they won going away.
Players to watch: Wolves center Darko Milicic helped limit former Timberwolves center Al Jefferson to only nine points and nine rebounds in last week's game, then Big Al went for 33 points and 18 rebounds against the Bulls and 30 points and 17 rebounds against Philadelphia and said it's the best he has felt since knee surgery in February 2009.
Injuries: Milicic felt ill and didn't practice much on Tuesday. He is questionable. ... The Jazz's Mehmet Okur (back) and Francisco Elson (ankle) are out. Gordon Hayward (foot) is questionable and Devin Harris (hamstring) and Paul Millsap (knee tendinitis) are game-time decisions.
