Now that the Super Bowl is over there will be more and more focus on the NFL draft in April. Even if there is a work stoppage, the draft will be conducted.

That means get ready to see plenty of mock drafts, especially after the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis later this month. Some of the mocks already have started, including one done by Nolan Nawrocki of Pro Football Weekly.

Nawrocki has the Vikings selecting Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn with the 12th overall selection. This is somewhat interesting given the Vikings other needs, but the reality is that Ray Edwards and Brian Robison could end up leaving as free agents and Everson Griffen didn't do himself any favors when he was arrested twice in the same weekend on alleged misdemeanor violations.

Clayborn, who is 6-4, 285 pounds, will be represented by local agent Blake Baratz, who is president of the Institute for Athletes. Here is a closer look at Clayborn.

While it will take some time before we get a feel for which direction the Vikings are leaning with their top pick, or if they might try to move back or up, it does seem like a long shot to me they will take a defensive end. Nawrocki, of course, isn't done with his mock drafts so his pick for the Vikings very well could change.

Among the quarterbacks, Nawrocki has Tennessee taking Blaine Gabbert of Missouri at No. 8; Washington going with Cam Newton of Auburn at No. 10; Miami taking Ryan Mallett of Arkansas at No. 15; and Seattle getting Jake Locker of Washington at No. 25.
