Greetings. Youngblood here. I was at practice today. Jerry will be back at Target Center for Monday's game.

Not a lot new going on today during what turned out to be a relatively short practice, at least compared to Saturday's session.

Corey Brewer, who went to Tennessee to be with his sick father, was back at practice. But backup point guard (heel, plantar fasciitis) wasn't able to do a lot.

Indeed, coach Kurt Rambis said the four-day break between games gave his team a chance to rest (one day off from practice), and then spend a few days trying to tighten things up on the offensive end. The bad part?

"It's unfortunate we didn't have 14 healthy bodies," he said. He's right. Over the past three days he hasn't had his full compliment on the floor at the same time. Thursday both Kevin Love (getting some rest), Dark Milicic (ankle) and Luke Ridnour (hamstring) were all either limited or out. Saturday Brewer wasn't here, and today Telfair sat out.

Still, we'll get to see if any of the remedial work Rambis and the staff did on the team's offensive execution will pay off Monday against Houston.

"Our offensive execution had taken a step back," Rambis said. "Hopefully we got the guys more conscience of executing things more properly."

That's about it. Have a good rest of your weekend.
