***Founder's Day!***

In one of the most incredible funder's day celebrations the state of minnesota has seen over 120 attendees gathered to participate in celebrating the foundation of Phi Beta Sigma Faternity, Incorporated. The principles of this organization are Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service. The legacy that is upheld in the state of Minnesota clearly represents the fraternity motto: Culture for Service and Service for Humanity this was celebrated with a video that was displayed during a Sigma year in review presentation.

Congratulations to all the winners of the $500 schlolarship that was distributed at this event: Alejandra Redwing, Israel Thomas, Michelle Ndely, and Tyler Burda.

Congrats also to sigma man of the year Sam Ndely and New Comer of the year Justin Lewis these gentlemen have been an examples for the entire organization upholding the high ideals of this most noble organization.

Community Partners: Medtronic, Jamine Hill, 3Way Entertainment & National Associaton of Black Accountants (NABA) all received recognition for their work with the Fraternity as well.

Michael haynes and Ashley Curtis accepted a framed proclaimation that renamed the scholarship after one of the founding members of the Zeta Nu Sigma Chapter Amos Haynes to commemorate his life work.

A gathering of so many Sigma Brothers in the State of Minnesota for Founder's Day may not have occured in over 20 years. For that, congratulations is in order for all individuals involved who coordinated, facilitated, and participated in this event.
