Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said wide receiver Percy Harvin is dealing with another migraine episode.

Harvin was limited on Wednesday and did not practice Thursday. Sidney Rice also sat out but Frazier said that was purely precautionary. The Vikings also gave Rice an extra day of rest last week to ease his workload after returning from hip surgery.

Frazier said the plan is for Adrian Peterson (ankle), Ray Edwards (ankle) and Steve Hutchinson (broken thumb) to test their injuries on Friday to see where they are physically.

"We'd like to get a gauge as to how far away they are," Frazier said.

The Vikings had only three receivers for practice Thursday with Harvin, Rice and Greg Lewis (concussion) sitting out. Frazier said the coaching staff is looking at all options, including possibly using rookie quarterback Joe Webb at that position in an emergency.

"It's possible and it wouldn't be ideal just because he hasn't played receiver," Frazier said. "But we'll explore all avenues based on who's available. We've been talking about some different things as a staff. But we're going to have to have a Plan B and maybe a Plan C just in case something happens with Percy or with Greg."

The rest of the injury report didn't change much Thursday. Brett Favre returned after getting Wednesday off.

Rookie cornerback Chris Cook, who's dealing with swelling in both knees, did not practice after being limited on Wednesday.
