Wide receiver Sidney Rice took part in all of practice on Wednesday, three days after playing a majority of the offensive snaps in his first game back after undergoing hip surgery that had sidelined him since late August.

It's unclear if it's cause for concern today that Rice did not do any work in practice, although that certainly would not seem to be a good sign. The Vikings did not have media access because of Thanksgiving so it's not clear what to immediately make of this turn of events.

Rice wasn't the only Vikings wide receiver to not do any work. Bernard Berrian, who has been dealing with a groin injury and essentially played one series last Sunday against Green Bay, sat out today after doing limited work on Wednesday. This was likely a sign of a setback for Berrian, who was active on Nov. 14 at Chicago but did not play.

Safety Jamarca Sanford, who is a key contributor on special teams, did not practice for the second consecutive day because of a hamstring injury that is almost certain to sideline him for the second time in three games.

Limited for a second day in a row were defensive end Jared Allen (neck); quarterback Brett Favre (ankle, foot, right shoulder); and safeties Eric Frampton (hamstring) and Husain Abdullah (ankle).

Linebacker Chad Greenway (eye) and center John Sullivan (calf) continue to be listed on the injury report but have not missed any practice time.

The Redskins continue to have 14 players on their injury report. Linebackers Rocky McIntosh (thigh) and Lorenzo Alexander (hamstring) went from not participating on Wednesday to being limited on Thursday. Wide receiver Santana Moss went from being limited to sitting out on Thursday.

Here's the rest of the Redskins injury report:

RB Clinton Portis (abdomen/groin) injured reserve; defensive end Jeremy Jarmon (hamstring), did not participate; safety LaRon Landry (Achilles'), DNP; running back Ryan Torain (hamstring), DNP; wide receiver Brandon Banks (knee), limited; guard Derrick Dockery (knee), limited; defensive end Kedric Golston (elbow/groin), limited; guard Artis Hicks (thigh), limited; center Casay Rabach (knee), limited; cornerback Carlos Rogers (hamstring), limited; and quarterback Donovan McNabb (hamstring), full participation.

The Washington Post reported that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said today that Landry will miss his second game in a row on Sunday. Torain also won't play against the Vikings and rookie running back Keiland Williams will start for the second time, according to the Post.
