Keith Brooking might have been unhappy last January when he felt the Vikings ran up the score by getting a late touchdown in their 34-3 playoff victory over the Cowboys, but Friday the linebacker told the Dallas Morning News that he has bigger things to worry about.

Brooking's main concern is that Dallas will take a 1-3 record into Sunday's game against the Vikings. The Vikings, of course, also are 1-3.

"When toe meets leather Sunday, the last thing that is going to be going through my mind when I go out there with our defense is we've got to get them back because they ran up the score," said Brooking, who raced toward the Vikings sideline last January to yell at coach Brad Childress after Brett Favre threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Visanthe Shiancoe with 1:55 left in the fourth quarter. "I'm worried about executing our defense and playing the best I can play. That [playoff game[ will no enter my mind at all before the game or during the game. It's a non-factor."

Vikings nose tackle Pat Williams said Thursday that if Brooking, "wants to cry like a little baby, he'll cry like a little baby but we aren't worried about what he's saying."

Said Brooking of that statement: "Good for him. Good for Pat and his feelings about me. You would think Pat would have this figured out by now, but I'm worried about this year."
