A LOOK AT THE GOPHERS’ Postseason

The Big Ten tournament starts Wednesday in Omaha, where the resurgent Gophers will look to end a nearly three-year victory drought. Last season, the Gophers missed out on the Big Ten tourney altogether, and in 2014 they went 0-2 in Omaha, losing to Michigan and Iowa by one run apiece. In 2013 at Target Field, the Gophers won two of three games and advanced to the third day before being eliminated by Nebraska. After the Big Tens, the 64-team NCAA field will be announced. The winner of the Big Ten gets an automatic berth.
