By Tuesday: Gov. Mark Dayton must sign or veto the K-12 bill.

By Wednesday: He must do the same with the other major budget bills.

By June 30: Without a signed budget, government will start to run out of money and shut down.

Dayton can call legislators into special session at any time to continue working but has said he is unlikely to do so without first reaching an agreement with Republican House and Senate leaders.
