Stories you'll find only in your Sunday Star Tribune newspaper

Country music — that twangy, red-headed stepchild — is at the center of pop for the first time in nearly a generation.

With artists like Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood topping the charts, packing arenas and popping up on television, old prejudices are disappearing, thanks in large part to the iPod generation.

Other stories you'll find only in Sunday's paper:

BUSINESS: Bite Tech, a Minneapolis-based start-up, has partnered with Under Armor to develop high tech sports mouthwear that it claims can boost an athlete's performance by suppressing an energy sapping hormone. The company has recruited top athletes to not only use the product but also to invest in the company.

VIKINGS: The long circus the Vikings put themselves through to get Brett Favre was worth it. Sure, it might have caused a few headaches, but eight games into the season, there is little doubt coach Brad Childress and owner Zygi Wilf would do it all again. Favre hasn’t just met the expectations of being the quarterback this franchise lacked, he has exceeded them.
