Lt. Gov. Yvonne Prettner Solon and members of a Minnesota delegation will leave Saturday for a trip to Berlin, Germany.
Prettner Solon and others will meet with German renewable energy experts and policymakers to talk about innovations and find ways to bring new ideas home.
"Minnesota and Germany are leaders in the renewable energy sector," Prettner Solon said. "Trips like these are a superb way to get outside of your own conception of an issue and exchange innovative approaches to problem solving."
The delegation returns July 27.
