Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, vice chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) will be in Des Moines this weekend to give a Democratic response after the GOP debate. The ABC News/Des Moines Register/Republican Party of Iowa debate is Saturday at 8 p.m. at Drake University. It will be broadcast live on ABC. Moderators are ABC's Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos. Rybak will hold a briefing with reporters on Saturday prior to the debate and will be on hand to offer a Democratic response following the debate, said Michael Czin, regional spokesman for the Democratic National Committee.
