Today at the Capitol

Posted by: under Gov. Mark Dayton, Minnesota legislature Updated: April 22, 2011 - 7:57 AM

The Capitol remains as silent as an empty tomb, with legislators and their staffers still scattered to the four winds. That's likely to change -- with a vengence -- next week, when they return for the stretch run of trhe legislative session.

Gov. Mark Dayton's sole scheduled public appearance Friday was a visit to the School of Environmental Studies in Apple Valley to commemorate Earth Day. He planned to speak briefly to students, tour the school and inspect a wind turbine installed there.

Other than that, it's a quiet day in Lake Woebegon.
