Rep. Michele Bachmann may have a tough time rounding up the votes in the Republican caucus to vault into a leadership position, but she at least has Minnesota on her side.

All three Minnesota House Republicans, including Rep.-elect Chip Cravaack, have said they will back Bachmann's bid for GOP conference chair.

Rep. John Kilne "intends to vote for his delegation colleague," said Kline spokesman Troy Young.

Paulsen's spokesman Mark Giga wrote in an email Friday that "Erik plans on voting for his Minnesota colleague."

But even with home-state support, Bachmann's road ahead is difficult. She's running against Rep. Jeb Hensarling of Texas, a fiscal conservative who has received support from outgoing Conference Chair Rep. Mike Pence and House Majority Leader-in waiting Rep. Eric Cantor.

Friday afternoon, one Tea Party favorite, Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, also said she was supporting Hensarling over Bachmann. For Bachmann's side, Rep. Steve King, another Tea Party Republican who shares a spokesman with Bachmann, has endorsed the Minnesota Republican.

Soon-to-be House Speaker John Boehner has not waded into the race.
