Election Night addendum, from James Walsh:

Lost in the poll-watching, the planning and the politicking of Tuesday night was one of the most valuable players of Michele Bachmann's camp: Her hair stylist, Natalie Hale. At 8 p.m., when Bachmann was about to appear on Neil Cavuto's show on Fox News, Hale hopped up onto the riser to dab fresh makeup on the congresswoman's face and make sure her hair was neatly in place. The same was true at 9 p.m., before Bachmann appeared on Brian Williams' show on NBC and with Chris Matthews on MSNBC, and at 10 p.m., before Bachmann made the local TV news circuit. In fact, throughout the evening, Hale – along with her combs and make-up kit – was never far from Bachmann's side. When Bachmann's phalanx of campaign workers hustled her from one stage to another, Hale hustled along. When Bachmann was escorted back to the elevator to return to her room at the Bloomington Sheraton hotel after each national television interview, staffers held the doors open for Hale to squeeze in. Hale said she is a freelance stylist for Bachmann, not an official member of the Bachmann campaign. She first met the congresswoman from Minnesota's 6th District at the Republican National Convention two years ago, while Hale was working for Fox News. In April, she was called in to work her magic during the Bachmann-Sarah Palin rally at the Minneapolis Convention Center. After that, Hale said, she was invited to keep Bachmann' coiffure looking camera-ready for her campaign. "It's a lot of fun," she said of the hectic pace of the job. Then the candidate, and her stylist, dashed to another stage.
