DFLers have delayed what was billed as their unity news conference until sometime between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.

DFLers had scheduled an 11 a.m. unity rally on the the Capitol steps, but with DFLer Mark Dayton's apparent razor thin gubernatorial primary victory, challenger Margaret Anderson Kelliher wasn't ready to concede by late morning. Kelliher has announced a 3 p.m. news conference, but offered no hint as to the topic. Democratic U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar organized the unity event. John Kavanagh, Klobuchar's state director, said they were still coordinating with the campaigns and didn't have a firm time for the news conference. The filed a report with the state to change the time. Kelliher, Dayton and DFLer Matt Entenza have pledged for months to unify behind the primary winner. With 99 percent of the precincts reporting, Dayton held a lead of about 7,000 votes, beating Kelliher 41 percent to 40 percent. Entenza conceded Tuesday night, a couple hours after the polls closed.
