Minn.'s Pawlenty to speak to South Dakota GOP

ST. PAUL, Minn. - South Dakota Republicans will hear from Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty at their party's annual state dinner next month.
Pawlenty will deliver the keynote speech on Oct. 2 in Rapid City, S.D.
South Dakota GOP Chairman Bob Gray says Pawlenty is a national leader within the Republican Party.
He says Pawlenty will share his vision of how Republicans can win elections in 2010 and beyond and how to govern after winning.
Pawlenty is considered a potential candidate for president in 2012. The two-term governor isn't running for re-election and has been traveling widely to speak about the GOP's future.
