Vice President Joe Biden and former President Jimmy Carter plan to attend the memorial service Saturday for Joan Mondale.
Mondale was the wife of Walter Mondale, who served as Carter's vice president.
Carter, who will attend with his wife, Rosalynn, is scheduled to speak during the service at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis. Jill Biden, the vice president's wife, also will attend.
The service, which is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., will be streamed live on the church's website, live.worshipchannels.com/Westminster MPLS.
