South Dakota primary: Clinton today, Obama tomorrow

Last update: May 15, 2008 - 1:14 PM

South Dakota is having its turn in the Democratic presidential spotlight this week as the June 3 primary approaches.

Hillary Clinton arrived late this morning for a campaign event at a farm near Aberdeen. The town hall-style gathering is titled "Solutions for the Rural Economy." Clinton made a stop a week ago for a rally at the airport in Sioux Falls.

Rival Barack Obama has two stops in South Dakota scheduled for Friday.

Obama will visit Watertown in the morning at the Codington County Extension Complex.

Then it's on to the state's largest city and an early evening rally at the Sioux Falls Arena.
