Governor Tim Pawlenty collected more than $850,000 for his campaign last year, an unusually high amount for a non-election year.
Pawlenty's campaign finance report shows he ended the year with $375,000 in the bank.

Pawlenty's campaign spent more than $640,000 in 2007, most of it for fundraising and radio ads urging voters to oppose tax increases proposed by legislative Democrats.
