Filling out the hat trick of candidate visits to the Twin Cities, a Hillary Clinton campaign official said Tuesday that Hillary, Bill or Chelsea Clinton will be here before Minnesota's Feb. 5 caucus.

A visit by Chelsea Clinton that had been planned for today was quietly scrapped on Monday because of travel conflicts, said Jonathon Beeton, the campaign's Minnesota spokesman.

"We just couldn't work out the flight schedules," Beeton said. "But it's our understanding that we'll get one of the big three in here within the next week."

The Clinton campaign is scrambling to regain momentum after a decisive loss to Barack Obama in South Carolina. Obama is planning a major rally in Minneapolis on Saturday. The exact time and place have not been determined. John Edwards appeared in St. Paul on Tuesday night.

Beeton said the campaigns are working on a minute-by-minute schedule as the clock ticks down toward the mammoth 24-state contest that is Super Tuesday.

"We literally tried to put this together late Sunday night and by early yesterday morning we found out we couldn't make the flight schedules work," Beeton said of the Chelsea Clinton visit. "But it's a postponement, not a cancellation."
