The Interstate 35W bridge collapse has sparked lots of action on bridge repairs -- outside Minnesota. Here is what other states have done since Aug. 1:
Missouri: Governor ordered legislators to include bridge repair in their recent special session. They approved plans to fix more than 800 of the state's worst bridges within five years.
Wisconsin: Will install sensors to measure stress on 14 bridges that are more than 50 years old.
Tennessee: Several bridges, including the one that links Memphis to West Memphis, Ark., are temporarily closed for repairs.
Massachusetts: A bridge in Northampton will be closed for up to a year after inspectors declared it unsafe.
