June 26, 2008 - Golden Valley, MN - Sam Zordich, the CEO of Stonegate Growth Strategies Ltd., has run businesses, owned businesses and mostly recently served as a business consultant focusing on growth. As part of her consulting she for years had used an internal numbers-crunching tool she had developed to see how various growth options -- hiring people, making acquisitions, developing a new product -- would affect a company's bottom line. It provides information that typically isn't readily available to small business owners who don't have full-time CFOs, she says. The tool -- which she calls the Rosetta program -- usually helped identify some competitive advantage that would help a client company find a way to grow. Rosetta has had the same effect, unexpectedly, on Zordich's consulting firm, Stonegate Growth Strategies. She's been working on developing it into a commercial product for her own firm, some big financial services firms and a few smaller ones have expressed interest in licensing it for their clients use. Zordich is looking for investors so she can build a website where clients could use the Rosetta program themselves, plus training webinars to help them understand what the numbers say.
