Russ Sewell of Bruno, Minn., is an avid grouse hunter and regional biologist with the Ruffed Grouse Society, a national conservation group dedicated to furthering ruffed grouse and woodcock habitat. His Brittany spaniel, Hope, is his hunting partner.
