Despite weather that bordered on insufferable, anglers turned out in droves Saturday on Upper Red Lake. A DNR official said more anglers were on the lake near Waskish, Minn., than on opening day in 2006, the first year angling was re-opened on Upper Red after being closed due to overfishing.
