October 10, 1008 - Anoka, MN - Nancy Volk was more than happy to see her friend Dan Heins was doing well after a kidney transplant. Last week, Nancy Volk, owner of the Legal Grounds Cafe in Anoka, donated a kidney to a customer, Dan Heins, at Mayo Clinic. Volk is working two jobs, dodged foreclosure on her home and may lose her cafe. One of her grown daughters was adamantly against her doing the transplant. But it�s something she wanted to do. Meanwhile, Heins has lost both legs to diabetes.
