Local artist Naima Richmond got a closer look at the art designs that were unveiled at a news conference Tuesday at the Guthrie Theater. Ten new public art sculptures that will include water fountains will be built throughout Minneapolis. The art and fountain sites were chosen by the Minneapolis Arts Commission. None of the fountains is ready for installation. Sponsors are still being sought for five of the pieces.
