Betty and Don Valiant helped Fifteen-year-old Nick Brown from a wheelchair to a walker so he could work in Don's workshop-garage. Brown who has cerebral palsy, went on a field trip to Valleyfair this year with his ninth-grade classmates from Shakopee Junior High but found that the park's policies with respect to dealing with disabled individuals had changed, making his visit more difficult. Betty is Nick's paraprofessional.
