Kim Koshiel, partner, Fashion Avenue 2. Kim Koshiel will be a speaker at SCORE's yearly Women in Business luncheon in this column that advances the event and talks to a couple of speakers about how SCORE helped them with their company. In Koshiel's case, SCORE counselors helped her put together a business plan that enabled her to become a partner with the owners of Fashion Avenue in Edina, where Koshiel had been an employee for five years, so that she and they could open a second location of the high-end consignment shop. Koshiel, a Minnesota native who was a fashion director at Bloomingdale's in New York, stocks the store in part with items sent to her from friends who are still in the industry in New York.
