Dave Hughes, PolyMet Mining's manager of operations and development, walked around the former LTV Steel facility near Hoyt Lakes in northeastern Minnesota. PolyMet plans to mine copper, nickel and precious metals on the site and will make use of some of the exisiting equipment, buildings and infrastructure there.
