Specialist James Agada Idoko of the Minnesota National Guard was hugged by Nyumah Kpannah, who is the grandmother of a fellow solider, during a welcome home ceremony Thursday following the unit’s return from its 12-month deployment in Iraq. Idoko, who is from Nigeria, was scheduled to be sworn in as U.S. citizen but postponed his ceremony for personal reasons.
