Public Safety Commissioner Michael Campion, along with several metro-area police departments and sheriffs offices announced today the creation of a temporary, multi-jurisdictional law enforcement unit to combat gang violence in the Twin Cities this summer. This after the Metro Gang Strike Force remained suspended indefinitely until the strike force review panel and FBI complete their investigations to their alleged wrongdoings.
