Adrian Peterson's opinion of his 100-yard performance against the Bears didn't change after watching himself on film.
"Yeah, I was just able to confirm that I was hesitant on some [runs]," he said. "Even though I didn’t realize it when I was out there, when I was out there playing I could see on film that I was trying to do too much instead of taking what the defense gave me. So it’s something that I was able to look at and really take something from.”
Peterson has encountered that issue at times in his career. He's so explosive that he wants to break every run for 60 yards rather than being patient and settle for a four-yard run sometimes.
"It’s just another reminder," he said. "You can kind of get out whack at times, and you’ve got to be able to evaluate yourself and see how you can improve and get back on track. So it’ll be a pretty easy adjustment for me.”
Peterson said the slippery footing at Soldier Field created few problems but he's focused more on his mindset.
"Really trying to strike those guys instead of running away from color as much as I did," he said. "I will be changing that this week.”
