Minneapolis police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by an SUV on the city's North Side Wednesday night. The vehicle then took off.
The man who was hit was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said. He was crossing the street on the 1800 block of Emerson Avenue N. around 8:30 p.m. when a silver or gray SUV hit him.
Police are searching for the vehicle. Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call the police tip line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).
