Severe Threat Pushes Into Wisconsin. NWS Doppler at 11:37 AM. The initial gust front and heaviest rains are now pushing east of the St. Croix into Wisconsin, a nice, long soaking rain lingering into early afternoon, with heaviest amounts over central Minnesota, where some .50-.75"+ amounts are likely. We need this rain badly, and it could make a significant dent in our ongoing drought. Severe Storm Warnings are still posted between Mora and Shell Lake.
