The story "Hankering for hybrids" (Autos, Aug. 9) would have been more complete if it had noted that car companies rarely advertise their electric cars. The public will not buy what it does not know is for sale. I have owned a Chevy Volt since February 2012. It is a great car! Still, the No. 1 question I get about the Volt is: "Can you buy those now?"
