Doesn't anybody take real responsibility anymore?

Lance Armstrong "confesses" to something he's already been caught at, and expects to be rehabilitated, despite the years of lies, threats against others, and the sullying of the sport he says he loves.

Bankers tank the economy, and are outraged at being blamed. They must be brilliant, they argue; look at their bonuses!

The NRA doesn't blink at the slaughter of 26 people in Newtown, Conn., after years of intimidating Congress into allowing the country to be flooded with guns.

What does it take for anyone to truly accept responsibility in this country and change their tune, just because it's obviously the right thing to do?
