Letter of the day: Is Iraq important? Check out the tape

Today marks the sixth anniversary of the attack on America by Osama bin Laden's Al-Qaida terror organization. To remind us of 9/11/2001, Osama crawled out of his cave, colored his beard and spent 25 minutes lecturing the free world on a new video tape.

According to Osama, Iraq is now the major battlefield against Christians, Jews and American corporations. He is angry that the Democrats didn't fulfill their 2006 pledge to surrender in Iraq. The burden of interest-related debts, insane taxes, real estate mortgages and global warming are the fault of our American style democracy. And finally, if we want to save our lives, all we have to do is to embrace Osama's distorted brand of Islam.

Well, Osama, thanks for reminding America that you are still out there and want to kill us. America must continue to fight you and your terror organization throughout the world until we are victorious. It took us 16 years to find the "Unabomber," and he was hiding here in rural Montana. Rest assured, some day we will also find you!
