Tim McGuire's diatribe against Sarah Palin ("Sarah Palin: An oversensitive mom,'' March 2) was really over the top. The TV show "Family Guy" didn't poke fun at Down syndrome children: It specifically made fun of Palin's Down syndrome child. Readers need to ask themselves: If a television show mocked one of your children, what would your response be? I would respond a lot more harshly than to say, "It was a kick in the gut." It seems reasonable for people to disagree with Palin's politics, but what's with the hatred people seem to have toward her? It's bizarre.
