The Editorial Board has been scattered throughout the metro this morning, dealing with bad traffic, late delivery people and frozen garage doors. Just a typical sunny January morning in Minnesota. We're awaiting the governor's State of the State address at noon. "He'll jolt us into reality,'' House Minority Leader Marty Seifert, R-Marshall, told the Star Tribune's Patricia Lopez yesterday. News flash to Marty: Minnesotans felt the jolt of reality long ago. The Minnesotans we're hearing from are looking to the governor and Legislature for leadership, strategic problem-solving and creativity. And a balanced budget, of course. You can follow the speech live at startribune.com. Let us know in advance what you hope to hear and, after the speech, hit the comment button and give us your thoughts on the governor's approach.
