Sarah Elizabeth Gilmore

Gilmore, Sarah Elizabeth Heaven gained another angel. Sarah was born on 11/3/1928 and floated in to God's Kingdom at the age of 86 on 9/3/2015. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband Peter D. Gilmore, brothers George and Ralph Ekonen and granddaughter Kelly May Gilmore. She is survived by children Bryan (Sue) Gilmore, Claudia Knutson, Jacquelyn (Jerry) Bourdeaux, Kevin (Tammy) Gilmore, Keith (Tracee) Gilmore, Tim Gilmore. Survived by siblings Tauno/Don Ekonen, Eva Lindeman, Maria (Norm) Durham, Martin (Elizabeth) Ekonen. Her life was full with 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and oh, so many loving friends. Sarah was such a giver. She gave of her time, her heart, and her delicious cooking. Even today she continues to give to the welfare of humankind by donating her body to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program. Visitation will be held 9/21/2015 at 10:00 am, Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9600 163rd St W, Lakeville, 11:00 am Celebration of Life followed by a luncheon.
