Herrmann, Gregg Frank of Hopkins, 59, passed from esophageal cancer on August 29, 2015. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on December 21, 1955, moved to Minneapolis in 1973 to attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and graduated from the University of Minnesota Pharmacy School in 1979. He began working for the University of Minnesota Hospital in 1980 and continued to work with the University and Fairview Health Systems until the week of his passing. Gregg died peacefully, surrounded by family. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother and a dedicated pharmacist. He was preceded in death by father, William C. Herrmann. He is survived by wife of 25 years, Carolyn, daughters Emily, Katherine, and Sophie, mother Ruth E. Herrmann, siblings Virginia (William) Brydges, Susan (Robin) Debe, Kathleen (Kenneth) Hagen, and Ruthann (David) Alfredson, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Visitation at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church (St. John's Campus) 6 Interachen Rd, Hopkins, 4-7 p.m. on September 2. Mass of Christian Burial also at St. Gabriel's, 3:30 p.m., on September 3, with additional visitation one hour before the Mass.
