John A. Goodding

Goodding, John A. Age 93, of Roseville, MN. Died peacefully on May 18, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother, survived by his beloved wife, Harriet, daughters Judith Kuusisto (James) and Marcia Goodding (Tom); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard and one sister Barbara Bell; many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and relatives. John was a Professor Emeritus of the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agriculture and Natural Resource Sciences. His 17 year career at the University included academic administration and classroom teaching in the Department of Agronomy & Plant Genetics from which he retired in 1989. He will be remembered for his love of family, friends, painting, music and education. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff and hospice support of Presbyterian Homes Hearth, Roseville. A Celebration of Life will be held at House of Hope Presbyterian Church, St. Paul, on Thursday, June 11th at 4:00 pm. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Minnesota.
