Santiago, Mildred age 68, passed away May 29, 2015 at Fairview Southdale Hospital, where she was a nurse for over 40 years. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she was affectionately known as "Millie" by her many friends. Born in 1946 in Iloilo, Philippines, Millie was a longtime resident of Bloomington but loved to travel, and visited Italy, Spain, Japan, Hong Kong, Greece, and many other places. She also loved to read, garden, sing, dance, and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Rene; her sons, Sean (Connie) Santiago and Chris (Yuri) Santiago; her grandchildren, Aki and Tristan Santiago; her brother, Fluellen (Margie) Ortigas; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, June 4, at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, Visitation also 1:30-2:30 PM Friday, June 5 with Remembrance Service 2:30 PM at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel.
