Amundson, Lucille "Lucy" Murschel age 83, of Plymouth, passed away May 30, 2015 of Alzheim-er's Disease at Brookdale Senior Care Center in Plymouth where she has resided for the last seven years, near her daughter Debbie. She entertained staff and residents over the years with yodeling and her fun sense of humor. She was also escorted out of their small church meetings several times because she was singing too loudly and off key. Lucille was born in Webster, SD on Sept. 10, 1931. Her parents were grain and livestock farmers. She completed the 8th grade, as was the custom of farm children at that time. Lucille married Alfred Edward Amundson at the age of 17. She was a homemaker to her four children and the joy of her life was time spent with her family. She also enjoyed traveling and was successful at buying and selling real estate. She is survived by her sister, Donna Prozinski; brothers, Jerome Toby and Robert James, Jr. Murschel; her son, Larry; daughters, Debra, Denise and Donna; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Amundson; parents, Robert and Ernestine Murschel; sisters, Erna Engebretson, Viola Pratt, Margaret Theil and Alice Prozinski; brothers, Melvin, Mervin, Donald and Delbert Murschel. Visitation will be Friday, June 5 from 6 to 8 pm at Gearty Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. Services will be Saturday, June 6 at 12:30 pm at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 8151 42nd Ave N., New Hope. Gearty Delmore Plymouth 763-553-1411
